SGS is offering a free web seminar on June 28 and July 02, 2010 to learn more about how to prepare and perform meaningful on-site hardness tests. Attendees will also be shown how to avoid costly basic errors. The webinar will be held by Dik de Groot, nondestructive testing (NDT) Level III specialist and radiation safety advisor at SGS.

SGS, an inspection, verification, testing and certification company organizes a series of 60 minute web seminars on technology and application updates, every two to three months. Aiming at inspiring attendees to build new business, create more added value and simply keeping them up-to-date with new technology and applications, the SGS web seminars attract attendees globally.

The mobile hardness tests webinar, specially designed for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspectors at Levels II and III, will be held by Dik de Groot.

In this webinar, Mr. de Groot will explain how to prepare and perform meaningful on-site hardness tests, including the measuring principles, the strengths and weaknesses of mobile hardness test equipment and the differences in the use of static hardness test equipment. Attendees will also be shown how to avoid costly basic errors.

With this webinar offered by SGS, attendees can widen your know-how and learn which competences (knowledge, experience and good preparation for execution) are essential for achieving results they can rely on.

To register for the webinar, visit the SGS Webinar Calendar at www.sgs.com/ndt.
